Opening: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine (IM, FM, EM) Position Type: Locum Tenens Facility: ED Location: Kentucky Start Date: ASAP, pending approved privileges, 30-60 days privileging timeframe Length: 6+ months Hours: 7am - 7pm, 7pm - 7am (12 hour shifts) Details: Annual ED visits 13,012 Average of 35.6 visits per day 15.6% Admission rate, 4-5% transfer 96 licensed beds, with 46 in operation 12 ED beds 7 Open ICU beds (No Intensivists, Hicuity Tele-ICU capability) ED will respond to floor codes APP support 7a-7p and 7p-7a, No scribes EMR used is Meditech, Expanse Credentials: Active Kentucky medical license. KY DEA. Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Prefer non-ER trained physicians to have at least 1-year of ER experience. ACLS, BLS, PALS and ATLS required. ATLS not required if ABEM certified. Temporary privileges available for clean files.
