Physician / Emergency Medicine

A facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in New Iberia, Louisiana. This position offers 12-hour shifts for a board-certified/board-eligible physician in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine. The role spans two locations: a main site with 28 ED beds and 28,000 annual visits, and a freestanding ED (FSED) with 8 beds and 15,000 annual visits. Both sites use TrueBridge EMR, with 36 hours of MD coverage at the main site and 24 hours at the FSED. Credentialing will cover both locations, and travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
