Opening: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine (IM, FM, EM) Position Type: Locum Tenens Facility: ED Location: Kentucky Start Date: ASAP, pending approved privileges, 30-60 days privileging timeframe Length: 6+ months Hours: 7am - 7pm, 7pm - 7am (12 hour shifts) Details: Annual ED visits 14,000 Average of 38 visits per day 15.3% Admission rate, 3.8% transfer 90 licensed beds 10 ED beds 6 Open ICU beds (No Intensivists, Hicuity Tele-ICU capability) ED will be respond to floor codes Trauma Level 4 APP 7a-7p, 7p-7a coverage No scribes EMR used is Meditech Credentials: Active Kentucky medical license. KY DEA. Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Prefer non-ER trained physicians to have at least 1-year of ER experience. ACLS, BLS, PALS and ATLS required. ATLS not required if ABEM certified. Temporary privileges available for clean files.
