Flexible Scheduling Options:
- Craft a schedule that works for you with a variety of day and night shifts available (12-hours, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Nights and weekends are in highest demand, but the opportunity to pick up additional shifts exists.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients experiencing a variety of medical emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses.
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and order necessary diagnostics.
- Perform essential procedures as needed within your scope of practice.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
- Stabilize and transfer patients to higher levels of trauma care when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Epic EMR system.
Qualifications for Success:
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) is mandatory. Alternative board certifications are not accepted.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS to demonstrate your commitment to patient safety.
- Valid Virginia medical license to practice medicine without restrictions.
- Current DEA registration is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- A passion for serving rural communities is a plus.
