Job Responsibilities
As a Pediatric ICU Physician, your responsibilities will include:
- General rounding and patient care responsibilities followed by on-call duties
- Providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients in the intensive care unit
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Managing critical care procedures and interventions as needed
- Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records using EMR systems
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process
Job Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Active South Carolina License and DEA - REQUIRED
- Board Certification in Pediatric Intensive Care - REQUIRED
- ACLS, NRP Certification - REQUIRED
- Availability for urgent shifts listed in the job description - REQUIRED
- Clean Background - REQUIRED

- EMR Systems: Meditech and Medimobile
- Average Daily Census: 4.3 admissions (2023)
- Annual Births: 2,800
- Daily Patient Load: 2-4 patients per day
- Subspecialty Backup Onsite: Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric GI Surgery, Neonatology Services
- Remote Pediatric Cardiology Support

- Certification Requirements: ACLS, Board Certified, DEA, NRP
