Physician / Critical Care

A large hospital is seeking a critical care physician for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in southeastern Pennsylvania. We are seeking a clinician with experience in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, or Critical Care to provide overnight coverage (7 PM 7 AM) for a 19-bed CCU shared with Cardiac Surgery. Responsibilities include admitting patients, providing critical cardiology care, managing a typical census of 4-6 patients, and responding to urgent/emergent care requests for inpatient cardiology patients. A cardiologist is on-call for additional support. Skills as a Cardiology or Critical Care Fellow or Intensivist are preferred but not required. There is no call associated with this role.
