Job Description We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for part-time weekend call coverage. This role involves inpatient rounding, urgent STEMI cases, and interventional procedures. Elective and outpatient cases are handled during the week.
Coverage Details - Weekend Call Coverage: Friday 5:00 PM Monday 8:00 AM
- Shifts per Month: 3 (Dates TBD)
- Hospital Coverage (Future Dates TBD): Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Emergent cases only after 5:30 PM)
- Estimated STEMI Cases per Month: 20
- Response Time Requirement: 30 minutes to hospital
Provider Requirements - Board Status: Board Certified
- Licensure: Active Maryland License or IMLC
- Experience: Minimum 2 years post-fellowship
- Certifications Required: ACLS, DEA, CSR License
- On-Call: Yes (In-House, Telephone, Beeper)
Additional Information - Support Staff: Non-invasive cardiologist available, APP coverage on weekdays
