What You'll Do:
- Perform a variety of image-guided minimally invasive interventional procedures to diagnose and treat complex cardiovascular conditions in a well-equipped hospital near Benld, IL.
- Manage a diverse outpatient cardiology clinic, providing consultations, diagnostic testing, and preventive care for patients with a variety of cardiac concerns.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for each patient.
- Participate in inpatient consultations and manage cardiac care for hospitalized patients within a dedicated 64-bed cardiac unit.
- Round on patients, monitor their progress, and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Interpret diagnostic studies and order appropriate tests and medications.
- Provide compassionate and supportive care to patients and their families.
- Maintain meticulous documentation within the Epic electronic medical record system.

Qualifications:
- Active medical license in the state of Illinois (IL only).
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine with a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology (required).
- Current ABLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum credentialing time possible (temporary privileges may be available).
- Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive knowledge base in Interventional Cardiology and general cardiology, with expertise in performing minimally invasive procedures and managing diverse cardiac conditions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and make critical decisions.
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients and families navigating cardiovascular health concerns.
Additional Information:
