The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is responsible for:
- Evaluating and treating patients in urgent care/occupational health settings.
- Providing compassionate patient care aligned with organizational values.
- Discussing treatment plans with patients for clarity on next steps.
- Documenting care in the electronic system and ensuring proper coding and billing.
- Maintaining clinical productivity and following up on patient care.
Essential qualifications include an active Texas medical license, NCCPA or ANCC/AANP certification, and BLS certification. Candidates should be comfortable with all age groups and EHR proficient. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Valued skills include experience in urgent care and initial x-ray interpretation.
