Physician Assistant

•  Provides independent, competent nursing care in a clinical setting, handling both routine and complex cases.
•  Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) for patient care.
•  Manages and delegates assignments to other providers to oversee clinical situations.
•  Addresses diverse psychological, emotional, social, and cultural patient needs.
•  Administers medications/treatments; monitors effectiveness and documents care.
•  Educates patients and families on health needs and resources.
•  Requires a BSN (preferred), 1 year of specialty nursing experience (preferred), BLS, and a valid RN license.
