We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position through Barton Associates to provide coverage at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Texas. This 11-day assignment begins on June 9th and requires expertise in managing sick visits, follow-ups, and common ailments such as coughs, colds, flu, scrapes, burns, and rashes. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The PA will be filling in for a provider on vacation, handling routine primary care responsibilities, and interpreting labs and imaging results. Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Conduct sick visits and follow-up appointments

Manage common ailments including coughs, colds, and flu

Treat minor injuries such as scrapes and burns

Assess and manage various types of rashes

Interpret laboratory results and imaging studies

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Collaborate with clinic staff and other healthcare professionals

Adhere to all clinic protocols and safety standards

Additional Information:

Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas

Experience with eClinicalWorks electronic health record system preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment required

Flexibility to adapt to clinic procedures and systems
