We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position with a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Oregon. This 120-day assignment starts on 08/04/2025, with flexible hours ranging from 32-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing family medicine care in a mobile clinic setting, traveling to various community health events. This unique role offers an opportunity to serve underserved populations who may have difficulty accessing traditional clinics. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for managing a wide range of primary care needs, including acute illnesses, chronic conditions, preventive care, and patient education.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm or 10am-7pm (32-40 hours/week, flexible)

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide comprehensive family medicine care in a mobile clinic setting

Diagnose and treat common illnesses such as colds, cough, flu, and COVID-19

Manage chronic conditions like diabetes

Administer vaccinations and perform physical examinations

Handle medication refills and patient education

Conduct health screenings and preventive care services

Adapt to various community health event settings

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EHR system

Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community organizations

Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction in a mobile healthcare environment

Stay updated on the latest advancements in family medicine

Participate in community outreach and health education initiatives

Additional Information:

Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in Oregon

Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred

Strong clinical skills in family medicine and primary care

Ability to work independently in a mobile clinic environment

Excellent communication skills for patient education and community interaction

Flexibility to travel to different locations within Washington County

Comfortable serving diverse and underserved populations

Possibility of assignment extension beyond the initial 120 days
