We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Physician Assistant for a 14-day locum tenens assignment at a Hospital in Oklahoma. The assignment covers two separate weeks: June 30-July 6 and/or July 21-27, 2025, with 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The position focuses on providing critical care services in the ICU, working alongside a Critical Care physician. Responsibilities include performing ICU-specific procedures such as central and arterial line insertions. This opportunity requires expertise in critical care medicine and may extend beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive critical care services in the ICU

• Perform ICU-specific procedures, including central and arterial line insertions

• Collaborate with Critical Care physicians and other healthcare professionals

• Assess, diagnose, and treat critically ill patients

• Monitor and manage patient care plans

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care conferences

Additional Information:

• Oklahoma state PA license required

• Critical Care certification preferred

• Experience in ICU settings and procedures essential

• Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work night shifts and in high-stress situations

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Potential for assignment extension
