Physician Assistant

Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiology for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Ohio. This 36-day assignment begins on 06/02/2025, with a flexible schedule of 8a - 5p shifts for 3-5 days per week. The ideal candidate will be performing echocardiograms, stress tests, nuclear studies, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and cardioversions. Experience with Epic EMR system is required. There is also the possibility of extension for this assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive cardiac care to patients in a hospital setting

• Perform and interpret echocardiograms, stress tests, and nuclear studies

• Conduct transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and cardioversions

• Manage a variety of cardiac cases and conditions

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiology best practices and treatment guidelines

Requirements:

• Active Ohio state license

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant

• Specialized experience in Cardiology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
