Physician Assistant - Family Practice

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Colorado, starting 07/14/2025. This opportunity involves working in a mental health facility, specifically in an Acute Treatment Unit (ATU) with several beds for adults experiencing psychiatric or mental health crises. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am-5:00pm. The PA will be responsible for obtaining medical histories and physicals, monitoring glucose levels and medication effects, and performing other essential duties in a mental health setting.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations

Contribute to treatment plans for patients in psychiatric crisis

Ensure proper documentation of all patient interactions and treatments
