APPLY NOW. We seek a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA to join our team at a skilled nursing facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents.

Provide hands-on therapy sessions focused on strength, mobility, and functional activities.

Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the physical therapist regarding the effectiveness of treatment.

Educate residents and their families on exercises and rehabilitation techniques to reinforce at home.

Document patient care and progress accurately and timely in compliance with facility policies and regulations.

Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment while adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and ensure interdisciplinary communication.

QUALIFICATIONS:

New passer/graduates are welcome

With Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care experience is preferred

Experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is a preferred

BLS and Physical Therapist Assistant Certificate

Interest in working with the geriatric population

Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards is required

Associate's degree or certification from a physical therapy program that included course study in anatomy and physiology, and clinical experience.

Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
