- Collaborate with medical professionals, including physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other therapists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients' recovery.
- Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs, incorporating exercises, therapeutic activities, and modalities to address patients' specific needs and goals.
- Monitor patients' progress, track improvements, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment procedures, and home exercises, fostering active participation in the recovery process.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, neuromuscular reeducation, and functional training, to enhance patients' physical abilities.
- Regularly document patients' treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with medical record-keeping standards.
Qualifications: - A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Specialization or certification in rehabilitation therapy is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, Kinesiology, and therapeutic techniques relevant to rehabilitation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Demonstrated ability to create and modify treatment plans based on individual patient needs and progress.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and relevant software for documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
