Position Summary:
a2z Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide in-home care focusing on pain management and orthopedic conditions. This role involves delivering high-quality clinical care, managing chronic and acute pain, and coordinating comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's orthopedic and rehabilitation needs. The ideal candidate excels in interdisciplinary collaboration, patient education, and independent clinical decision-making.
We are currently hiring for PRN or part-time positions, with the potential to transition to Full time based on performance and our business growth. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and evolving clinical team with room for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-home health assessments and focused exams, especially for musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for patients dealing with chronic pain, post-operative recovery, or orthopedic injuries.
- Collaborate and communicate regularly with physical therapy assistants to align goals and care plans.
- Provide patient and caregiver education on orthopedic care and pain management strategies.
- Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress, outcomes, and evolving needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland
- 1-2+ years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, or related specialties.
- Experience in home health is preferred.
- Knowledge of orthopedic injuries, post-op recovery protocols, and chronic musculoskeletal pain.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
