Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Doctor of Physical Therapy to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care, be positive, team player, and enjoy their job. We ask all employees to be open to learning as well as teaching. Here are some techniques we will review:
- Schroth Technique
- McKenzie Protocols
- Dry Needling (observe until certified)
- SMRT Technique
- Autoimmune Protocols
- Lymphedema treatments
- Manual with movement
- Pelvic Floor Techniques (female only)
Job Responsibilities Include
- Evaluate, examine and assess patients' conditions to determine their physical therapy needs
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' goals and medical history
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to help patients improve mobility and relieve pain
- Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and techniques for continued progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Skills:
- Proficiency in physical therapy diagnosis, surgical protocols/procedures, and documentation
- Experience in outpatient, manual skills, sports medicine
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient care and communication
- Knowledge of medical terminology and best practices in physical therapy
- Ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Open to feedback and growing as a clinician
