GENERAL PURPOSE: Ensure quality care while providing therapy services and supervising therapy assistants in compliance with standards and regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide physical therapy services per physician's plan.
- Assess therapeutic status and develop care plans.
- Direct treatment and instruct patients and caregivers.
- Report patient reactions and participate in discharge planning.
- Supervise therapy assistants and maintain communication with care teams.
- Attend meetings and contribute to coordinated care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state license and two years of clinical experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with computer use and valid driver's license.
- Active CPR certification for outpatient positions.
