Position Overview:
Recess Pediatric Therapy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. This role involves conducting evaluations and treatment sessions at our clinic locations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the physical therapy needs of pediatric clients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and the unique needs of each child.
- Provide direct physical therapy services, including interventions to enhance motor skills, strength, coordination, and functional mobility.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment outcomes.
- Monitor and document progress towards therapy goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support the child's physical development at home.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of motor development, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, and other relevant pediatric therapy techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with children, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
