Summary: Responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician to restore function and prevent disability. The therapist assists patients in achieving maximum performance and participates in departmental operations and quality improvement activities.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates knowledge and skills for patient care. Maintains core competencies and complies with policies. Accurately interprets referrals and develops effective plans of care. Communicates proactively with other therapists. Implements plans to achieve clinical outcomes and adjusts treatment as needed. Completes documentation and develops realistic goals with patients. Requirements:
High School diploma; degree in Physical Therapy. Effective communication skills; basic computer knowledge. Current licensure in New Mexico and BLS certification. Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
