Follows care plans developed by Physical Therapists using various treatment techniques. Promotes healthy lifestyles by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Collaborates with other health professionals involved in patient care. Delivers personalized, evidence-based care tailored to patient needs. Motivates patients during their recovery and instructs them and their families on home exercise programs. Qualifications include a CAPTE-approved Physical Therapy Assistant program, one year of relevant experience, and a valid Illinois license.
Strong communication, organizational skills, and reliable transportation are essential.
