Physical Therapist Assistant

The Physical Therapist's Assistant is responsible for providing physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a physical therapist, administering various treatments, assisting patients in improving mobility, instructing on the use of assistive devices, documenting treatment and progress, providing clinical direction to therapy workers, maintaining records, assisting in education programs, and performing related duties. Requirements include completion of an accredited program, licensure, and preferably one year of experience in a physical therapy department.
