Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in assisting physical therapists with patient care, treatment plans, and rehabilitation exercises. The PTA will work closely with patients to help them recover from injuries, improve mobility, and manage pain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities as prescribed by the physical therapist.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and report findings to the physical therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to be performed at home.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Comfortable with Manual therapy skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and practices.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
