Contract duration: 13 or 26 weeks (flexible)
Shift: Days
Pay rate: $41.00/hour
Oregon state PTA license required
BLS or CPR cert required
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at a well-established Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Eugene, OR. This is a 13-week contract position with both day and evening shift options. This candidate will work closely with our residents to provide top-quality care in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Use manual therapy techniques, assistive devices, and adaptive equipment as needed.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, physical and occupational therapists.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
