Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and other physical impairments. Your role will be vital in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and functional abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and executing tailored treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs.

Implement therapeutic interventions, including exercises, modalities, and patient education, to facilitate rehabilitation.

Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions as necessary and communicating findings to the supervising therapist.

Educate patients and their families about exercises, techniques, and home care strategies to support recovery.

Ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment by maintaining equipment and following safety protocols.

Participate in team meetings, contributing insights and collaborating with colleagues to improve patient care.

Stay informed about current best practices and advancements in physical therapy through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in State or eligibility for licensure.

Graduation from an accredited PTA program.

Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate adaptability.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care.
