Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, helping patients recover from injuries and improve their overall mobility and quality of life. Responsibilities - Work closely with physical therapists to implement care plans for patients - Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities - Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions - Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and self-care techniques - Provide support in various settings such as clinics, hospitals, and home health environments - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Requirements - Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program - State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant - Experience in clinic, home health, inpatient, or orthopedic settings is preferred - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient treatment plans - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team - Compassion, empathy, and dedication to improving patient outcomes
