Job Summary: Provides physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist to promote and maintain health.
Utilizes an outward mindset to achieve personal and team goals. Records therapy procedures and results as per hospital policy. Communicates effectively with the healthcare team. Functions independently in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Administers physical therapy treatments and exercises under a Physical Therapist's direction. Observes and documents patient responses and progress in medical records. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree, Michigan license as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and BLS certification required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: One year of hospital experience preferred.
Working Conditions: Potential exposure to infectious diseases.
Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, reaching, and lifting (1-50+ lbs).
