The Encinitas Union School District (EUSD) is seeking a PE/Yoga Teacher to be part of the Enrichment Program in a wheel rotation setting at La Costa Heights Elementary School. The PE/Yoga Teacher will create and implement interdisciplinary learning experiences for students in K-6th Grade. Curriculum and collaboration opportunities with other PE/Yoga Teachers provided.

The Encinitas Union School District (EUSD) is located in the North San Diego County along the coast. It serves nine (9) Kindergarten through sixth grade schools.

The weekly work schedule for this position is 7:30am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Applicants selected from the paper screening process will be invited to interview following pre-interview reference checks with references listed on the EdJoin application. The interview process consists of a panel interview on Thursday, May 22, 2025 and a performance task. All application requirements must be completed and included to be considered.

Salary placement dependent upon experience; up to 10 years of teaching experience is taken into consideration for salary placement.

You will have the opportunity to clear your teaching credential at no cost through the district offered Teacher Induction Program.

Successful candidates will be required to pass fingerprint background check, physical and drug screen and provide negative Tuberculin Skin Test result prior to working in Encinitas Union School District. Fingerprinting and TB test at applicant's expense. Physical/drug screen paid by EUSD. An original Social Security Card and Drivers License required at the time of hire.
