We are seeking a skilled Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician for an 80-day locum tenens assignment at a Hospital in Vermont, starting 07/07/2025. The ideal candidate will work four days per week, from 8 AM to 5 PM, in an outpatient clinic setting. Additionally, the physician will provide 24-hour call coverage one weekend per month, from Friday 5 PM to Monday 8 AM. This role involves delivering comprehensive care for spasticity patients, including Botox treatments, spinal cord injury management, general musculoskeletal and PM&R care, EMG studies, joint injections, and other related procedures. The physician will work in an Orthopedics & Rehabilitation Center, utilizing the Epic system for patient management. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a diverse rehabilitation setting with potential for extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide outpatient clinic sessions for spasticity patients
- Administer Botox treatments for various conditions
- Manage spinal cord injury cases
- Conduct general musculoskeletal and PM&R evaluations and treatments
- Perform EMG studies and interpret results
- Administer joint injections and other related procedures
- Utilize Epic system for patient management and record-keeping
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in the rehabilitation center
- Provide on-call coverage as scheduled
- Stay updated on the latest developments in PM&R and rehabilitation medicine
- Offer patient education on rehabilitation processes and home care
Additional Information:
- Active Vermont medical license required
- Board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Experience with Botox treatments and EMG studies preferred
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system a plus
- Strong clinical skills in managing complex rehabilitation cases
