Position Description
This position is a trainee position within the pharmacy department where the incumbent is trained to provide technical support to the pharmacists and the Department of Pharmacy Services. The work requires specialized knowledge, experience and skills to perform the technical work of a pharmacy and thorough knowledge of the routine and procedures of the pharmacy department. The purpose of this position involves the preparation, review, supply, dispensing and control of medications and other pharmaceutical products.
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or GED
License
Obtain License to practice in the State of Alaska upon hire
Pharmacy Technician National Certification- REQUIRED
Experience Required
Five years hospital pharmacy, or ambulatory clinic pharmacy, or retail pharmacy experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.97 - $38.62 per hour
