Assists inpatient pharmacy by preparing sterile products, distributing drugs and supplies, and generating accurate patient charges under a Staff Pharmacist's supervision. Requires a high school diploma, registration as a non-certified technician, and certification within a year. Skills include effective communication, basic computer proficiency, and knowledge of medical terminology. Hospital experience is preferred. Works under supervision of the Pharmacy Director/Manager in a busy environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and needlestick risks. Physical demands include rapid movement, reading requisitions, and lifting less than 50 lbs.
