Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $27.91 - $34.85 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:
Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, performs all assigned tasks and services related to medication distribution in an accurate, timely and safe manner. The pharmacy technician is responsible for the preparation, distribution and control of hazardous drug infusions and oral medications. Maintains current California Pharmacy Technician license.
EDUCATION:High School graduate or GED equivalency is required. Diploma or transcripts on highest degree earned required.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:Three years-experience in an acute care hospital setting with one year of sterile compounding experience.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:Required:
Current Registered Pharmacy Technician issued by California State Board of Pharmacy.
Preferred:
CPhT issued by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
SKILLS:Aseptic Technique, Chemotherapy Compounding Certification, Competency in specialized equipment (e.g. IV workflow software).
