This position involves preparing and distributing prescription medications using advanced fulfillment systems. You will be responsible for accurately entering patient demographics and prescription information, resolving insurance billing issues, and addressing patient or physician inquiries. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and contacting members and physicians.
- Accurately enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
- Investigate and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member issues.
- Consult with a Pharmacist for guidance on complex prescriptions or processing questions.
- Provide support for inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $15.75 to $17.50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
