JOB TITLE: Pharmacy Technician
LOCATION: Jeffersonville, IN 47130 Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $18.95/hour (1st Shift) Mon 9:00am-7:30pm, Tue-Fri 10:00am-7:30pm, every 3rd Sat 12:00pm-8:30pm
• $19.70/hour (2nd Shift) Mon 1:00pm-11:30pm, Tue-Fri 2:00pm-11:00pm, Sat 11:00am-8:30pm
JOB SUMMARY
As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in a fast-paced, automated prescription fulfillment environment. Working under pharmacist supervision, you will ensure the accurate preparation, packaging, and distribution of medications to support patient safety and operational excellence. Your contribution directly impacts customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and the achievement of daily production targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Accurately fill prescription vials by reading computer screens and verifying medications
• Replenish automated dispensing machines and scan product barcodes
• Fold/pack paperwork and prepare prescriptions for shipping
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy work area and follow HIPAA protocols
• Uphold company SOPs and contribute to a culture of accountability and focus
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Tech License
• PTCB National Certification
• 1+ years of pharmacy experience in high-volume or production settings
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Prior warehouse or distribution center experience
• Proficiency in pharmacy systems and scanners
• Strong team collaboration and problem-solving
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Continuous standing/walking (8+ hours)
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pinching
• Use of handheld scanners, computers, and automated systems
