Focus:

  • Operate under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to assist in prescription preparation, IV compounding, and medication packaging.
  • Input prescription data into pharmacy management systems accurately for order fulfillment and billing purposes.
  • Support pharmacists during the final review of prescriptions, including medication staging and post-review packaging.
  • Collaborate with the inventory team to manage incoming medication stock, maintain lot numbers, track expiration dates, and support routine inventory audits.
  • Help uphold regulatory standards by maintaining clean, safe, and compliant workspaces.
  • Perform equipment checks to ensure proper calibration, cleanliness, and operational safety.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to coordinate accurate and efficient medication distribution to patients and healthcare providers.

Skill Set:

  • Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Tennessee (required).
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred, but highly motivated candidates without prior experience are encouraged to apply - comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to patient safety.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and a willingness to learn new software.
