Job Description: Performs complex, diverse, and administrative and operational support duties for the Acute Care pharmacy department. Education Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and completing Pharmacy related credentialing, payor enrollment, and researching associated issues
- Coordinating and participating in committees, providing guidance and support to pharmacy leadership
- Coordinating revision of policies and standard work
- Auditing support
- Preparation of reports and meeting minutes
- Coordination and assistance with the management of team and patient schedules, as applicable
- General office support including but not limited to ordering office supplies, distribution of mail
- Provides other support to staff within the department as required
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of office experience required, preferably in healthcare
- Proficient and comprehensive skills in personal computer software systems and applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation and database (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pharmacy experience highly preferred
- Associates degree preferred
