Hours/week : 40 hrs/week

Pay Median: $85.00/hr or $3400/wk - $105/hr or $4200/wk

Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed and experienced Pharmacist to join an acute care pharmacy team on a Full time contract basis. This role supports medication preparation, sterile compounding, and electronic health record review to ensure optimal patient safety and outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions.
Review and interpret physician orders and detect therapeutic incompatibilities.
Prepare and compound sterile products in compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage the pharmacy dispensing system and maintain accurate patient records.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure best pharmaceutical care practices.
Participate in inventory management and ensure compliance with medication storage protocols.
Provide support across various shifts including nights and weekends as scheduled.

Skills Required:
Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience.
Hospital Experience
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
Sterile processing and IV room experience.
Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing systems.
