Radia has an exciting opportunity for a Per Diem PET/CT Tech to join our dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for those that thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn about radiology.
This position is located at our Evergreen Radia Imaging Center in Kirkland which is part Radia Inc. PS, which is a Physician owned and operated Radiology group serving over 50 hospital and clinic partners through Washington, Idaho and Alaska.
Compensation: The salary range is $48.70/hour to $81.31/hour, plus an additional 15% per diem shift differential) The salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status.

Our PET/CT Technologist performs a wide variety of technical and professional duties utilizing complex imaging equipment to produce quality images as requested for subsequent interpretation by the radiologist. All duties are performed according to departmental and organizational policies and procedures. Additionally, the PET/CT technologist functions with limited supervision, is expected to work independently, is capable of problem solving and is able to provide a high level of customer service to patients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is a list of general job responsibilities for the PET technologist. This list is not all-inclusive and may be broadened or changed as a result to meet changing business needs.
Must be capable of precisely interpreting a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT/PET scan equipment and place the patient to capture suitable images.
Rotates shifts as needed to cover department needs.
Quality control and QA of exams.
Perform daily, quarterly, and annually quality control procedures on nuclear medicine department and hot lab equipment.
Record and maintain appropriate nuclear medicine records in compliance with state regulations and radioactive materials license.
Comply with ALARA principles to reduce occupational radiation exposure.
Assist in CT as needed
Education/Experience:
CNMT license
State of Washington license
1-2 year PET/CT experience
BLS required
PET and CT registered
CT Tech certification (ARRT) or NMTCB(CT) endorsement, preferred
Skills/Abilities:
Patient skills/compassion/interpreters
IV skills /Port-A-Catheters
Runs lab/ work with ISTAT
Must be good with written and verbal communication
Must be able to follow protocols and standard work documents
Must be able to make standard work documents that apply to the PET department
