Position Overview: The Personal Training Operations Manager is a full-time leadership role focused on enhancing the performance and profitability of our personal training team across high-volume E S locations. Reporting to the Fitness Manager and indirectly to the Sr. Director of PT Experience, this role will oversee trainer service delivery while building strong member relationships to drive client acquisition, satisfaction, and retention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily management of the personal training team.
  • Collaborate with the Fitness Manager in managing the personal training business.
  • Inspire the team to meet or exceed monthly personal training objectives.
  • Lead engaging PT orientation sessions to maximize new client acquisition.
  • Identify and implement initiatives to grow the personal training department.
  • Enhance the E S personal training experience to boost revenue and client loyalty.
  • Manage the entire trainer lifecycle: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and team meetings to develop trainers.
  • Reduce trainer turnover and promote tenured team members through ongoing support.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year as an E S personal trainer for internal candidates or equivalent managerial experience for external candidates.
  • At or equivalent to L2 or Master Coach level as an E S personal trainer.
  • Passionate about team development through coaching and education.
  • Accountable for achieving performance targets and company KPIs.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, capable of meeting deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Hold a valid Personal Training Certification.
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to work in a gym setting, interacting with employees and members.
  • Ability to lift over 40 lbs. consistently and bend routinely.
  • Proficient in utilizing company computer systems for documentation and reporting.

Compensation Plan:
  • Competitive base salary with bonus opportunities.
  • Opportunity to train five paid client sessions weekly.
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with some weekends required, including the final Saturday of each month.
