Job Title: Experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Location: Queens Village, NY 11427

Position Type: Full-time, In-person

They are currently seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team and contribute to their continued success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Oversee files from initial client intake through trial, ensuring all aspects of case preparation and progression are meticulously handled.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and responses, with precision and adherence to court requirements.
  • Client Communication: Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information to support their cases.
  • Litigation Support: Assist attorneys with both pre-litigation and post-litigation matters, including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial procedures.
  • Electronic Filing: Efficiently manage electronic filing of documents through the New York State Courts Electronic Filing (NYSCEF) system.
  • Deadline Management: Maintain an organized diary system to track and meet all case-related deadlines.
  • Court Preparation: Prepare case files for court appearances and hearings, ensuring all necessary documents and evidence are organized and readily accessible.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years as a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Paralegal, with a proven track record of managing cases through all phases of litigation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic filing systems, particularly NYSCEF, and proficiency in legal research and case management software.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on client interaction and teamwork.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work proactively and independently, as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Work Schedule:
