Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in CA. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of trial experience in personal injury cases, including taking depositions of corporate defendants and expert witnesses. We seek an attorney who is passionate about advocating for justice and has a strong track record of success in trial.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide exceptional legal representation for plaintiffs in complex litigation and personal injury cases.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, respond to discovery requests, and prepare demand letters and settlement agreements.
  • Take and defend depositions, prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial, and implement effective trial strategies.
  • Manage caseloads from start to finish, ensuring all deadlines are met and case strategies align with client goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, consultants, and expert witnesses to build strong cases.
  • Maintain open and timely communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the litigation process.
  • Stay informed on changes in laws, statutes, and precedents affecting complex litigation and personal injury matters.
  • Handle complex legal issues independently and utilize informal resolution methods when appropriate.
  • Participate in client meetings, events, and build lasting relationships with clients, team members, and external partners.
  • Mentor and collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients.

Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
  • 2-3 years of experience practicing law.
  • At least 1 year of litigation experience in California state and federal courts preferred.
  • Experience with plaintiff-side tort litigation, including wrongful death, hazardous property conditions, and trip-and-fall cases preferred.
  • Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to professional conduct.Professional certifications or affiliations preferred.
  • Experience with arbitration and mediation is a plus.
