Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Document Preparation: Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents with precision and adherence to legal standards.
- Case Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive legal research to gather pertinent information and evidence, supporting case strategies and client positions.
- Negotiation: Engage in effective negotiations with adjusters, opposing counsel, and other parties to facilitate case resolutions that align with client interests.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar Admission: Active membership in the New York State Bar.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years practicing personal injury law, demonstrating a successful track record in case handling and client advocacy.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in legal drafting and research.
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
- Strong negotiation skills with adjusters and opposing parties.
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially when managing sensitive information and maintaining accurate records.
