Radiology Medical Imaging Tech I
Performs a variety of medical imaging exams for patients of all ages. Applies principles, theories and techniques of pertinent modality to provide reliable test results. Provides daily leadership of patient and department workflow
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position
Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment
Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public
Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision
Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES
Graduate of Accredited Radiology Technology program
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist s certification (in relevant modality)
Current Oregon license or recent graduate of approved program and holds a valid temporary Oregon permit previous to taking ARRT registry. Registry must be obtained within a reasonable time period not to exceed one year (in relevant modality)
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
Image Wisely pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter
Image Gently pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter
Associates or Bachelor s degree preferred
Various Modalities:
Radiologic Technology
Mammography
CT Technology
MRI Technology
EXPERIENCE
Three years previous experience in hospital setting
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
ARRT
BLS
