The Perioperative Services Registered Nurse will be working in a fast-paced unit with a tenured and experienced staff of 10+ FTEs, which oversees thousands of procedures annually. The 4 Operating Rooms in this department include a variety of cutting edge technology and tend to run on a tight schedule. This department offers a wide variety of procedures, from Neuroscience, to Orthopedic, to Cardiovascular. In this position, the Perioperative Services Registered Nurse will be responsible for implementing comprehensive and professional care for patients in a primarily acute environment. This position will make proper nursing diagnoses, and then plan, implement, and evaluate the patient s care. Additionally, they will treat emergency injuries, identify work-related risks, and perform proper documentation of all illnesses and injuries.
