Performance District Manager Reports To: Area District Manager
Reporting to this Position: Approximately 6-8 stores, including base store
Job Summary: The performance district manager is responsible for managing their base store location and directing all store managers in their assigned area. This role will achieve sales and profits through leadership and training in accordance with company policies, procedures, systems and provided training programs. The performance district manager must have the ability to influence others and manage remotely to drive operational excellence and efficiencies
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Attain sales projections and sales quotas as set by the Company. Maximizes both personal and Team Member's sales potential.
- Communicate performance expectations and makes certain all team members understand the impact of their performance on company success.
- Train and develop store managers and team members in product knowledge, service standards, policies and procedures, and sales techniques to achieve sales performance and operational efficiencies by providing behavior-based feedback.
- Monitor and respond to Net Promoter System performance and feedback within assigned area and base store, promoting positive experiences that exceed customer expectations.
- Cultivate and maintain productive relationships at all levels, creating an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation.
- Demonstrate behaviors conducive of a role model during interactions with others, supporting the Mission Statement, Core Values, and customer first philosophy, while adhering to the Standards of Conduct and Business Ethics.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all policies, procedures and systems governing store operations and be capable of leading, training and enforcing compliance in the stores.
- Recruit and hire team members at all levels within assigned area.
- Monitor corporate competition in assigned area and effectively communicate analysis and trends to banner operations leadership team.
- Accountable for adhering to labor budgets and maintaining corporate wage rate plans within their assigned area.
- Administers standardized Schedules and Timecards system procedures, payroll management and labor scheduling to make certain jewelry consultant schedules match customer traffic patterns and administrative needs.
- Attend all business meetings as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Signet guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing concerns and resolving conflict.
- Supervises all stores in their assigned area and team members in their base store.
- Responsible for supervising the overall operation and sales performance of assigned area.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurability.
Education and/or Experience: - Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 7 years retail sales experience, preferable with a jewelry or specialty retailer. Minimum of three years sales management experience with multi-unit responsibility or minimum of five years store management experience.

- Travel by car is regularly required. Air travel and overnight travel may be required.
