Community Regional Medical Center is the largest of our three main hospitals and the flagship hospital of the Central Valley. This academic-affiliated, Level 1 Trauma Center features one of the largest and busiest emergency departments in California as well as a comprehensive burn center.

Responsibilities:

The Imaging Workflow Coordinator is responsible for providing support to imaging informatics team. Works with various imaging information systems including picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), electronic medical records (EMR), radiology information systems (RIS), voice recognition and image data sharing platforms. Ensures that data sharing and retrieval is performed for emergent patient transports, ED admission and direct admission patients. Works with outside imaging studies, Medical Review Officer (MRO) for legal requests and various boards to ensure requested exams are obtained, processed in the appropriate time frames and meets established benchmarks.

In addition, the Imaging Workflow Coordinator will perform after hours EPIC radiant scheduling for the emergency department (ED), inpatient discharge patients and imaging patients who are being transferred from alternate internal or external facilities.

Qualifications: Education
• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Experience
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment required or
• Successful completion/current enrollment in a nursing or allied health program required
