DEPARTMENT: Nursery
RESPONSIBILITIES/ATTRIBUTES- Graduation from Nurse Practitioner program, Master's degree in nursing, with certification as a Nurse Practitioner required
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse & Nurse Practitioner in NYS
- Previous Neonatal or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience desirable or a combination of related experiences in progressively advancing nursing practice and leadership roles
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification acquired prior to start date or obtained during orientation
- Compassionate, warm and patient focused
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Exceptional documentation skills and professional behavior
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment)
