Our client has an immediate need for an Peoplesoft Developer, who will be assisting with the remediation of coding issues in our legacy applications while contributing to the Oracle Cloud implementation project, which includes areas such as Oracle Integration Cloud, reporting, and data conversions


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum two years of experience with PeopleSoft required
  • 3-5+ years of experience in .NET development (experience with PeopleSoft coding a plus)
  • Minimum two years of team-oriented development in a client-server relational database environment required
  • Strong business analysis skill set with a passion for driving business change and process improvement
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, reporting, and data conversions preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to work with business stakeholders and internal customers.Familiarity Azure DEVOPS / GIT and .NET development preferred
  • Familiarity with SQL preferred
  • Ability to develop enhancements/fixes alongside a business analyst and developer
  • Ability to work with internal customers/users to gather requirements/user stories and perform testing.
  • Strong ability to think logically and conceptually about systems and processes, not just as a coder but with a broader business perspective.
  • A hybrid mindset with the ability to balance coding with business analysis task
  • Customer-facing experience, with the ability to manage relationships and provide effective solutions to internal teams.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and highly adaptable, with a desire to learn and grow in both technical and business-oriented roles.
  • An accounting background or experience with Oracle ERP/Oracle Cloud is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Help configure and support Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle Reporting within Oracle Cloud as part of an implementation project
  • Provide primary support for legacy Human Resources & Finance related applications, including PeopleSoft.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Adhere to departmental System Development Life Cycle standards (programming, turnover, testing, documentation, incident reporting, etc.)
  • Assist in the remediation of legacy application issues, particularly with .NET and potentially PeopleSoft coding
  • Contribute to the implementation of Oracle Integration Cloud, focusing on reporting, data conversions, and integration tasks
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define business requirements, analyze processes, and drive system design and process improvements
  • Balance technical coding tasks with business analysis responsibilities, working with both IT and business teams to ensure the integration of technology solutions aligns with business objectives.
  • Participate in the Oracle Cloud Project, helping to integrate HR, Accounting, and Finance applications into a streamlined system
  • Engage with internal customers (HR, Accounting, Finance) to gather feedback and ensure the solution meets their needs, while maintaining strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Assist in determining how to extract and manipulate data within Oracle Integration Cloud for reporting and conversion purposes
  • As the project progresses, pivot to more configuration, design, and business-facing roles within Oracle Cloud
  • Provide long-term support for the applications, floating between HR and Accounting teams to ensure smooth system operation.
